What is CSR?

Contract Secured Revenue (CSR) is a mechanism in which 20% of gas fees that would otherwise be burned (in accordance with EIP-1559), are redirected to an NFT owned by the deployer of a smart contract.

In practice, this may act as a gas-rebate or another source of revenue for the contract deployer.
